Research
Research is an integral part of the LGES library curriculum. The model of research used at Lake George is the WISE inquiry model. Students are presented with an essential question that requires them to create a knowledge product. This essential question allows for students to become invested in their research. Students go through a process of wondering, investigating, synthesizing and expressing, which are the fundamental skills necessary for learning. The research model at LGES is heavily focused on informational fluency skills that are crucial to learning and are embedded within all curricular content areas.
