Library Virtual Summer Reading Circles
We are so excited to announce the 2020 Virtual Summer Reading Circle Schedule and Books. Thank you to all our Celebrity Readers for volunteering their time to create a wonderful reading experience for Lake George students.
Due to Covid-19 we have had to make Summer Reading Circles Virtual. This is a new experience for us and our celebrity readers are not all used to leading a virtual sessions, so please be patient. Most of the titles are available through SORA and can be downloaded on to your devices remotely. There are a couple of titles that will need to be placed on hold and picked up at the school for curbside pickup on Wednesday mornings from 8:30-10:15. Those titles have been indicated on the webpage for each selected book. Be sure if you pick up the book in time for you to read it prior to your session.
All Summer Reading Circles will take place at 10:30 through a Google Meet on the scheduled day with the exception of Origami Yoda which starts at 11:00. Students must read the book prior to attending the Summer Reading Circle (unless indicated otherwise). The Celebrity Reader will work with students during a half hour session hosting an activity related to the book. Please note, not all sessions will last a half hour, these are approximate times.
